Foster Care Fortnight© 2022 is the UK’s biggest foster care awareness raising campaign. It is delivered by leading fostering charity, The Fostering Network. This year’s theme is #FosteringCommunities. The theme wants to celebrate the strength and resilience of fostering communities and all they do to ensure children are cared for and supported to thrive.
It hopes to shine a light on the many ways people in the fostering community have supported each other, during the Covid-19 pandemic. Highlighting the need for more dedicated foster carers.

Why is Foster Care Fortnight 2022 so important?
This year, more than ever, we need Foster Care Fortnight©. From a global pandemic to wars across the world, children are being separated from their birth families and need foster families more than ever. So, this Foster Care Fortnight 2022 we want to highlight the incredible work done by our foster carers. We want to show how you could make a difference to the lives of local children in Blaenau Gwent by considering fostering.
