the story of

Shirley: I like fostering with my Local Authority

“I like my LA, they’re good to me. They’ve been brilliant with support, you get to know everybody; the social workers and they’re near if there’s any problem.

It’s the time with them (children) that’s important, not material things. It’s the time, the love and the support you can give them.

And I don’t do that on my own. You’ll get the support and honestly, when they go back home or are adopted, it’s magical. It’s magical. There’s nothing like it.”
